You’re invited to tour the Mansueto Library at the University of Chicago!

This tour is of Mansueto, the University’s newest library, which serves as an on-campus shelving facility for all of the University libraries. We’ll visit the Mansueto’s Circulation Services Center, the automated storage and retrieval system, the Grand Reading Room, and the Preservation Department, specifically the Digitization and Conservation Units. We’ll also stop in the Special Collections Research Center, located in the Regenstein Library, which houses the University’s rare books, manuscripts and archives. Currently, the Special Collections exhibition gallery has on display Swiss Treasures: From Biblical Papyrus and Parchment to Erasmus, Zwingli, Calvin, and Barth, which we are welcome to visit after the tour.
